The T.L.L. Temple Memorial Library’s mission is to enhance the quality of life for area residents by providing access to print, non-print, and online resources and programs that support lifelong learning and the love of reading.
We are always appreciative of any community support that we may receive in reaching these goals. There are many ways you can support your library!
The library accepts printed materials, supplies, and monetary donations.
Books may be donated to add to or replace books in our collection. Please be sure that books are clean and in new or like-new condition. Any books we cannot use will be given to smaller libraries in our area or to other institutions who might be able to use them. Monetary donations are also accepted for books to be purchased as a memorial or honorarium for loved ones who have passed away. Book memorials include a book plate in the front of each memorial book.
Monetary donations are also gladly accepted to assist with the many functions of the library. Money may be donated to library programs or departments or the Schinke Beautification Fund which is used to pay for the beautiful landscaping around our facility. Any monetary donations not specified for a particular use will be put in the library’s general fund.
Please print our donation form and fill it out to either be turned in with book donations or mailed with monetary donations. Library staff has copies available at the circulation desk as well.
All contributions of books or other items are tax deductible to the extent allowed by law.
You can also use our new Amazon Wish List to donate materials that library staff needs.
We are always in need of volunteer assistance in the library, whether doing general library work or assisting with the many special programs we present each year. Interested volunteers should contact the library by phone or on our Facebook to set up a time to meet with our volunteer coordinator.
